| Game Comments: The Odell Rams took home 3rd place honors in the IESA 7th Grade Class 1A girls basketball tournament by defeating Bourbonnais BVM, 27-16, Thursday night at Normal (Chiddix) Jr. High School. With their victory, Odell finishes the season with a sparkling 21-3 record while BVM finishes with 20 victories and just 3 losses. BVM lead 7-5 after one quarter but the game turned in the 2nd quarter when the Wildcats were held scoreless while the Rams scored 9 points to take a 14-7 lead at halftime. Odell extended their lead to 10 at 23-13 after three periods and they never looked back. Congratulations to both teams on outstanding seasons. |
