Game Comments: In the third quarterfinal, the Terriers of Taylorville faced the Patriots of Park Forest Obama STA. Taylorville got our to a quick start behind the 3 point shooting of Ryan Ess. The Patriots answered with a steady interior game. The Patriots picked up their scoring in the second quarter to close the gap. Lewis Harper had 6 points in the second quarter for the Patriots. The Terriers closed out the first half with a one point lead. In the second half, the Patriots were active in the paint and were able to capitalize on their rebounding. Harper had 10 points in the third quarter to put the Patriots up 2 going in to the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter was better behind the arc for the Terriers with 3 different Terriers sinking 3 point shots. It was this barrage that pushed the Terriers in to the lead as time wound down. The Patriots were led in scoring by Lewis Harper with 23 points. The Terriers were led in scoring by Brandon Odam.
