Game Comments: In the second match-up of the day, the Crusaders of Quincy Blessed Sacrament faced the Trojans of Washington Central. From the tip, both teams liked to push the ball. Quincy controlled the paint and got out to an early lead in the first quarter. Nick Schwartz dropped in 5 points in the first quarter for the Crusaders. In the second quarter, Washington Central settled down and made an unbelievable comeback. Justin Ray tossed in 9 of his 16 points in the second quarter. The Trojans went in to the locker room with the lead.

Both teams played aggressive defense coming out of the break. As the fourth quarter got started, Washington Central held the lead. Ryan Kastl was ice at the line making 5-5 late in the fourth quarter for the Trojans.

The Trojans were led in scoring by Thomas Ray who had 16 points for the game. The Crusaders were led by Nick Schwartz who had 15 points.

Congratulations to Quincy Catholic Schools on a tremendous season.

Washington Central will play in the semi-finals this afternoon.
