IESA HeadlinesIESA and Sports Authority Re-New Agreement![]() The Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) announced today that they have renewed their partnership with Sports Authority. Sports Authority, the nation's premier full-line sporting goods retailer, serves as the "Official Sporting Goods Retailer of the IESA." As part of the agreement, all 7th and 8th grade students in IESA member schools in those areas served by Sports Authority will receive a discount card that can be used to receive 15% off their entire purchase. These same discount cards will also be available to everyone attending the IPA and IASB Conferences this fall. "I am very pleased to announce that Sports Authority and the IESA will once again be working cooperatively to bring the very best of the sporting goods retail products from Sports Authority to the schools and students of the IESA," said IESA Executive Director Steve Endsley. "Sports Authority carries a quality line of sporting goods products and students and their families will now have the opportunity to save every time they visit a Sports Authority store. In addition, I am particularly pleased that Sports Authority wants to be involved in sportsmanship initiatives throughout the year." This is the 4th year that Sports Authority has served as the Official Sporting Goods Retailer of the IESA. The discount cards schools receive is an excellent way for families in IESA member schools to save 15% on their purchases from their local Sports Authority store. The partnership will be beneficial for the IESA, Sports Authority and the member schools. |
