IESA HeadlinesIESA Administrative Position AvailableThe Illinois Elementary School Association announces plans to appoint an Administrative Specialist position to its administrative staff. The position will replace that of current Special Projects Manager, Jim Flynn, who plans to retire effective May 23. This will be a full-time entry level administrative position. General responsibilities will include the administration of IESA State Tournament Series activities and other administrative duties in the general operations of the Association. It is likely the position will have administrative responsibility for the administration of at least one fall activity, the newly-formed bowling activity, and boys and girls track and field. The following information should be considered: 1. The title of the position shall be "Administrative Specialist." 2. Applications shall be accepted until May 4, 2010 and should be addressed to: Illinois Elementary School Association 1015 Maple Hill Road Bloomington, Illinois 61705 The following should be included: B. Resume; C. Written statement (maximum one page) expressing the individual's desire and qualifications for the position; D. Personal references 3. The following shall be required qualifications of all candidates: B. Well-developed communication, administrative, and organizational skills; C. Willingness to travel within Illinois; D. Valid Illinois driver's license; E. Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office, the internet, and social networking programs 4. The following shall be recommended qualifications of all candidates: B. Familiarity with the Association; C. Knowledge of Business Administration, Marketing, and Public Relations 5. The total salary package including insurance and pension is expected to be approximately $40,000. 6. The candidate selected shall start August 2, 2010 7. The IESA is an equal opportunity employer. |
