Member Schools May Request To Host State Wrestling Meet

The Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) Board of Directors is seeking proposals from member schools interested in hosting the IESA State Wrestling Tournament for the years 2009-2013.

Please click here to see the hosting requirements. Should a school decide to offer to host, then please read and follow the instructions below.

Any IESA member school may submit a proposal to host the state final tournament. It is the intent of the Association to award the state final contract to a school that will utilize the same facility for all five years of the contract. The principal of the school submitting the proposal must go online to the IESA Web Site at www.iesa.org, sign into the "Member Center Login" using the school password and then click on "Host Interest Forms." On the Host Interest Form screen choose state wrestling in 2009 and click that event. Once a school has indicated their interest in hosting the tournament, the IESA Office will send a Facilities Survey to the principal of the requesting school.

The deadline for returning the Facilities Survey, is December 21, 2007. The school offering to host shall guarantee that all Hosting Requirements will be met each year from 2009-2013. The Board of Directors will approve the state final meet(s) site at its January 18, 2008, meeting.
