IESA HeadlinesPark Forest Forest Trail Replaces Harvey Brooks in Class 4A Basketball State FinalForest Trail Middle School from Park Forest has replaced Harvey Brooks as the representative from Sectional 2 in the Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) Class 4A Seventh Grade Boys State Final Basketball Tournament. Forest Trail (16-6) meets undefeated East St. Louis Lincoln (17-0) in the third quarterfinal game Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The tournament is being played at Stanford Olympia High School. Harvey Brooks forfeited its 38-35 win over Forest Trail in the sectional game after it determined that one of its players that participated in the contest was ineligible. Under IESA by-laws, member schools are required to forfeit any game in which an ineligible player participates. .Harvey Brooks Principal Mary Ann West discovered that an ineligible player had participated in the sectional game against Forest Trail and informed us late Thursday that her school was forfeiting that game,. said IESA Executive Director Steve Endsley. .The integrity of our Association rests with our member school principals.
