Neil YockeyShelbyville Moulton![]() Principal: Neil Yockey is a very busy young man in pretty much every school sport, academics, student government, band and even the school newspaper at Shelbyville Moulton. He is also a high honor roll student. He says when it comes to what he's most proud that would be when he became a starting second baseman on the baseball team which placed third in the IESA Class 2A State Tournament last fall. He says eliminating poverty is the issue he'd most like to see conquered in the world. He says being poor is not a choice for most people, in part because of physical or mental difficulties many people find themselves facing around the world. He says the ripple effect of that issue, whether it's having enough nutrition or medical care, makes it hard for people to break out of the poverty cycle. He says volunteering for groups that tackle those issues is very important to him. |
