Champaign Franklin's Ryan Hunt excels in basketball, student government, and academics.

He most admires his father for his support, not just to him but to the whole family. He appreciates the fact his dad helps a ministry for people in need of homes and food. He also watched his dad's generosity in his own life when a friend's house was broken into and his father encouraged Ryan's basketball teammate to stay at the Hunt home to feel safe.

The personal accomplishment for which Ryan is most proud is his participation in the 2008 IESA Seventh Grade Class 4A State Championship basketball game. His team finished second after a rough start to the year with a novice coach and many teammates who had never played organized basketball before.

He envisions himself with a law degree one day and a desk in his father's law firm.
