Josie Ramsey

Principal: Mr. Jeremy Larson

Josie Ramsey is highly involved in interscholastic activities, most notably in band, cheerleading, and scholastic bowl. Her ability to show great teamwork skills and perform well in the classroom has earned her the Scholar Attitude Award for Board of Directors Division L.

Throughout her participation in activities, Josie has become more athletic, learned to play several instruments, and learned many facts. She notes, "I believe that interscholastic activities have had many lasting impacts on my life. These activities have brought new people in my life and we have formed strong friendships as teammates."

Josie learned the extent of those friendships when she tore a ligament in her elbow after tumbling. She had to wear a brace and take time away from cheerleading. However, her teammates were very encouraging and supportive. She credits that to helping her heal quickly and return to the activity she loves.

Josie is most proud of the scholarships she has received for college. During her sixth and seventh grade years, she was awarded the Paris Scholars scholarship. Josie hopes the scholarships will assist her while she studies to become a teacher after high school.
