| Match Comments: Chandlerville A-C Central Starters: 9, 4, 21, 5, 15, 1. Normal Epiphany Starters: 24, 2, 3, 4, 16, 3. Game 1: The score was tied three times and the lead changed hands twice in the first 15 points of the match. A-C Central took the lead at 8-7 and never relinquished the lead thereafter. A kill by Madalyn Allen and then an ace serve from Courtney Cave gave A-C Central a 16-10 lead. Epiphany cut the deficit to 21-15 on an ace from Jeff Reinhart after a kill from Katie Brelsfoard. Then A-C Central ground out the 8-point margin. A cross-court running kill from Courtney Cave gave A-C Central a 24-17 lead and Epiphany's Brelsfoard hit into the net for the final point. Game 2: The score was tied at 1, 2, 4, 5, 8 when A-C Central took the lead for the first time at 9-8 on a push dink from the right side by Morgan Wessel.The score was then tied at 11, 12,and 13 before A-C Central took a 14-13 lead on a kill from Madalyn Allen. Leading 18-5, A-C Central got a push dink from Courtney Cave for a point, a 19-15 lead, and the start of a five-point run. In the run, Brittany Stribling served for four straight points. A kill by Epiphany's Katie Brelsfoard cut the deficit to 24-19, but A-C Central's Morgan Wessel rocketed a cross court kill for end it. |
