| Match Comments: Chandlerville A-C Central Starters: 9, 4, 21, 5, 15, 1. Girard Starters: 25, 4, 45, 21, 7, 15. Game 1: Chandlerville A-C Central, leading 7-4, went ahead 12-6 on a sideout point. Then the Lady Knights received six straight service points from Madalyn Allen to race to an 18-6 lead. At the end of the game, A-C Central dominated the net and got point 23 on a kill by Carly Abbott and point 24 of a harder kill by Madalyn Allen. Game 2: Girard jumped in front 5-2, but A-C Central came roaring back to take a 6-5 lead. Girard tied it at 6-6 and went ahead 9-6 on the serving of Whitney Dunn. A-C Central came back with Madalyn Allen serving to go ahead 10-9 before Girard called a timeout. Madalyn Allen served for three straight points to put A-C Central ahead 13-9. Trailing 15-11, Girard got a pair of service points from Kayla Schott. Leading 17-3, A-C Central got a kill from Madalyn Allen for a sideout point, then two service points from Courtney Cave to go ahead 19-13. Girard came back to within 20-17, but A-C Centra;'s Carly Abbott delivered four straight serves for points, three of them aces, and the Lady Knights had the game. |
