Girls SoftballNFHS Softball Bat Standard RequirementsEffective January 1, 2004, the bat shall meet the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) 2004 Bat Performance Standard. The ASA website has the approved list and non-approved bat list. A link to this site is available on the IESA website under the activity of softball. In 2004 seasons, the IHSA and the IESA will mandate that the coach carry to the contest the printed list to verify to the official that the bat is on the proper list. |
