Good Sport Report- Beardstown Softball
Good Sports Report! Softball: Havana vs. Beardstown The Beardstown girls' softball and fans participated in a fantastic game that resulted in a 1-0 win by Havana. However, the coaches and athletes from Beardstown were phenomenal in their behavior and sportsmanship. There was true respect among both teams and the quality of their play. #goodsportsreport #experienceoveroutcome

The foundation of interscholastic activities must be sportsmanship. By valuing and demonstrating good sportsmanship, we become stronger players, giving a greater contribution to our team, the overall sport, and the community. We must prove ourselves as trustworthy members of our team, setting goals for individual improvement and team advancement. Sportsmanship requires supporting team goals above individual recognition, and demonstrating the highest commitment to fair play. We must be dependable and reliable, as our level of dedication and determination affects the entire team.

The value of sportsmanship is unending. It is something that can be applied to all aspects of life. One can take the lessons learned in the gym, and apply them, not only now, but into the future. Sportsmanship can aid one in being a better citizen, friend, parent, employee, and employer.
