Softball: Manteno MS vs. Bourbonnais St. George
The coaches from St. George kept a positive attitude despite trailing in a game. Coach Yuska talked with our coaching staff between innings and shared positive comments to her team throughout. She also acknowledged a couple of our players after making good plays. It was refreshing to have a coach want to watch the game grow....for both teams.

| Throughout my experiences in interscholastic activities, I have come to realize that not only does my attitude and actions determine who I am, but they also represent my school. If students from other schools do not know anything about me other than 'South' on my jersey, what they see me say or do is what they will think all kids from South Middle School say and do. When I compete in a cross country meet or a speech contest, I am conscious that my attitude and sportsmanship set an example representative for all South students."
