Game Comments: The Consolation game of the Raiders of Assumption Central A&M and the Princes of Princeville was an evenly matched battle from the start. Both teams had to shake off the nerves in the first quarter and try to settle into an offensive flow. McKayla Denton and Hailey Wilson both had 3 points a piece for the Raiders in the first quarter. The Raiders continued to press defensively in the second quarter and held the Princes to 3 points. In the third quarter, the Princes found their offensive spark behind the shooting of Emma Lane who scored 7 of her 18 points. Both teams continued strong rebounding in the fourth quarter and the put-backs kept the score close on both ends. It was Lane again in the fourth quarter for the Princes tossing in 6 more points. With the score tied, the Princes attempted a last-second shot for the win that bounced in-and-out. In the overtime period, the Raiders were swarming on defense and got out to the early lead off of two free throws from Hannah Schinzler. Lane brought the Princes within two, but time ran out for the Princes. Lane led the Princes with 18 points. McKayla Denton led the Raiders with 11 points.

Congratulations to both teams on outstanding seasons!
