| Game Comments: The Saints of Pontiac St. Mary's came away with a 30-9 victory over the Vikings of Lockport Taft and will now play in the second semifinal contest against Lincoln West-Lincoln Broadwell at approximately 6:30 later this evening. St. Mary's improved their record to 14-5 while Taft closes their season at 12-3. St. Mary's led the entire game as they jumped to an early 6-0 lead after one period and led 10-3 at the half. The outcome was never in doubt as the Saints outscored the Vikings 20-6 in the second half. Samantha Sipe led St. Mary's with 12 points while Therez Norris led the Vikings with four points. Congratulations to both teams on great seasons. |
