Game Comments: The final quarterfinal of the day was a hard fought battle between the Tigers of Glasford Illini Bluffs and the Cardinals of Pleasant Plains. The first quarter saw the Cardinals only up by two points. Glasford Illini Bluffs kept it close behind steady shooting at the line. In the second quarter, the Cardinals pushed their lead but not by much. Both teams did a tremendous job on defense and crashing the boards. Coming out of the halftime break, both teams matched shots and the Tigers clung to a four point lead. McKenzie Smith contributed 6 of her 15 points in the third quarter for the Cardinals. In the fourth quarter, Camryn Stafford hit a huge three-point basket for the Tigers to cut the lead to 3. Unfortunately, time ran out for the Tigers and the Cardinals closed out the game. Smith led the Cardinals with 15 points. Stafford led the Tigers with 6 points.
