Game Comments: In the first match up of the day the Cougars of Springfield Christ the King met up with the Wildcats of Kinderhook Western. Both teams got off to a slow start, working out the jitters. Blair Borrowman of Kinderhook Western scored 10 of her 21 points in the first half to put the Wildcats up 2 going into the halftime break. Carissa Reedy led the Cougars in scoring at the half. As they came back from the break, both teams had shaken off their nerves and settled in to a back and forth battle. It was only in the final minutes of the game that the Wildcats were able to pull ahead and stay ahead of the Cougars. Erin Schweska and Carissa Reedy led the Cougars with 10 points and 6 points respectively. Blair Borrowman led the Wildcats with 21 points.

Congratulations to Springfield Christ the King on a tremendous season.

Kinderhook Western moves on to the semi-finals this evening.
