Game Comments: The Wildcats of Cissna Park used a strong second half to earn a 49-29 first round victory over Decatur Our Lady of Lourdes in the 2015 IESA 8th grade Class 1A tournament. Cissna Park jumped out to an early 19-7 lead after one period as Julian Stadeli scored 9 of his game high 13 points in the first quarter. The Lancers made a nice run in the second quarter as Jacardia Wright scored three buckets in the quarter to close the gap to just seven at the half. The second half was all Wildcats as they broke open the game. Cissna Park (22-4), who won the 7th grade Class 1A tittle last year, will now play at 5:00 p.m. later today in the first semifinal contest of the evening. OLOL closes out their season with a 19-4 record. Congratulations to both teams.
