The game was close throughout as Hamilton outscored Wallace by one point in each quarter to take a 33-30 lead into the final stanza. Leading the way in the first three periods for the Cardinals was Drake Hammel as he scored all 21 of his game high points in the the first three periods. But the Warriors held him in check in the 4th period as Aadyn Knowles scored all four points for Hamilton in the last quarter. Wallace kept coming after the Cardinals and it was Brady Roether leading the way in that decisive and final period. Roether scored 7 points in the final quarter but it was a layup by Zander Gaul that finally gave the Warriors a 38-37 lead with just seconds remaining. Roether made 1 of 2 free throws with 2 seconds left to make the final score 39-37. Wallace will now play in the second semifinal game of the day later tonight at 6:30.
