Game Comments: In the first semi-final game, the Wildcats of Normal Metcalf met the Scotties of Fisher. The Wildcats got out to a quick start in the first half building a considerable lead in the second quarter. Mark Widdel scored 16 of his 22 points in the first half for Metcalf. In the second half, the Wildcats continued to put the pressure on the Scotties. The intensity of their pressure frustrated the Scotties and helped cap the win for the Wildcats.
Congratulations to both teams.
Fisher will play in the Consolation game on Thursday. Normal Metcalf will play in the Championship game on Thursday. |
