The Morton Junior Potters gave the much taller Clark Cardinals all they could handle but in the end, their height and athleticism were simply too much as Clark pulled away for a 55-37 victory. Clark (22-3) will now face Channahon in the second semi-final contest at 6:30 p.m. For three quarters it was anyone's ball game as Morton held a 7 point lead after one stanza and led by 2 at halftime. Clark led 36-33 heading into the 4th quarter but the 4th quarter belonged to Clark as they blitzed the Junior Potters 19-4 in the final period. Morton was led in scoring by Tucker Anderson and Ryan Altenberger with 10 points each. Malik Dones led Clark with 20 points on 4 field goals and 12 free throws.
