A close game throughout, Fairmont outscored the Stars 12-7 in the 4th period to finally take control of the game. However, Stew-Stas made it close when Jason Fry made a conventional three point play to close the gap to one at 25-24. But, those were the last points the Stars could manage and Fairmont made enough free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.
