The Trojans close out their season with a 19-6 record while Holy Cross will take a 21-5 record into the semifinal contest. The Crusaders seemed to have the game well in hand as Storm Joop and his teammates led 34-19 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Joop, who led Holy Cross with 24 points poured in 10 points in the 3rd quarter alone. However, Elmwood showed the courage of a trojan warrior as they scored the first seven points of the 4th quarter to cut the deficit to 34-26. Nick Groeper had a steal and a layup with 2:00 remaining in the game to close the gap to five, 40-35. Greoeper led all scorers with 27 points. The two teams traded baskets but when Tommy Ramsey hit a three pointer from the left corner with 15 seconds to go, the lead was only three at 43-40.
