| Game Comments: It was the Pleasant Plains Redbirds and the St. Joseph Panthers who would battle it out for third place. It was the Redbirds who would jump out to the early lead in this game. Amber Clauser of the Redbirds came up with a big steal and a layup to get the momentum in their favor. During the second quarter, it was the Redbirds defense that came up big and held the Panthers scoreless. After halftime, the Panthers were the team that had the momentum on their side. Katie Landis of the Panthers nailed a jump shot to help start the Panthers run. The Panthers made one last statement in the third quarter when Ashlynn McConaha hit a jumper as time expired. In the fourth quarter the Redbirds would take control of the game. Sam Kearney had a nice baseline drive for a layup to help the Redbirds extend the lead for good. The Pleasant Plains Redbirds take third place and the St. Joseph Panthers take fourth place. Congratulations to both teams on great seasons. |
