Game Comments: The Bolingbrook Brooks Bulldogs and the Parkside Pythons squared off in a battle of unbeaten teams in the first semifinal of the evening and it was the Pythons who will advance to the championship game with a 53-36 win over the previously undefeated Bulldogs. Parkside will take their perfect 25-0 record into the championship game on Thursday while Brooks will play for third place honors. Parkside jumped out to an early 16-8 lead behind the three point shooting of Shea Cupples who knocked down two bombs in the first quarter and they extended the lead to 28-12 at the half. The Pythons continued their pressure defense in the 2nd half as they maintained the lead they built in the first half. Congratulations to both teams. Brooks will play at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday while Parkside will play for the 4A state title at 7:30
