Game Comments: The Pythons of Normal Parkside cruised into the semifinals of the 4A tournament with a 57-36 victory over the Eagles of Matteson Colin Powell. The undefeated Pythons will take on the undefeated Bulldogs of Bolingbrook Brooks in the first semifinal contest this evening at 5:00 p.m. Parkside played a steady game through the contest and had a very balanced scoring attack. Colin Powell closed the gap to six at one point in time in the third quarter but Parkside used some long passes for easy baskets which seemed to take the momentum away from the Eagles. The Pythons are now 24-0 on the season while Colin Powell closes out their campaign at 19-2. Congratulations to both teams.
