Game Comments: Royal Prairieview Ogden Starters: 2, 5, 10, 11, 25. Joliet Laraway Starters: 12, 15, 23, 24, 34. Joliet Laraway jumped out to a 9-0 lead on a pair of baskets from underneath by Keenan Bell and a jumper in the lane and a trey from on top by Ryan Modiest. Royal Prairieview Ogden came back to cut the deficit to 11-9 at the end of the first quarter and then fell behind 15-9 before mounting a charge. A rebound layup from Corbin Hesterberg made it 15-11 and a layup from Hesterberg with 1:35 left in the half cut the deficit to 15-13. With 0:19 to go in the half, Brendon Cheek hit a three-pointer for Royal Prairieview Ogden and the 16-15 halftime lead. SECOND HALF -- In the second half and overtimes alone (18 minutes on the clock) the score was tied 8 times and the lead changed hands 12 times. The last time the lead changed was in the second overtime when Louis Acklin hit a three-pointer from the left side to give Royal Prairieview Ogden a 47-45 lead. With 0:02 left in the fourth quarter, Acklin hit a three-pointer from the right side to tie the game at 31-31. With 0:01 left in the first overtime Gerald Franklin of Joliet Laraway hit a three-pointer from out front to tie the score at 42-42. Royal Prairieview Ogden hit its free throws when they counted. The Mustangs went 2-2 from the foul line in the third quarter, 2-2 in the fourth quarter, 8-9 in the first overtime and 8-10 in the second overtime. Joliet Laraway had to foul to try to get back into the game in both overtimes. Royal Prairieview Ogden's Louis Acklin scored 12 of his game high 18 points in the second half and two overtimes. Joliet Laraway's Ryan Modiest led all scorers with 22, scoring 6 points in the third quarter, 1 in the fourth, 6 in the first overtime and 2 in the second overtime.
