For her academic excellence, participation in interscholastic activities, and compassion for other people, Alexandra Neely been selected as a Scholar Attitude winner representing Division H.
Alexandra maintains a 4.0 GPA while participating in basketball, Scholastic Bowl, Student Council, choir, and band. She says taking part in these activities has helped her learn valuable lessons. “The lessons I have learned are important because they have shaped me into a better person, teammate, and friend.”
If Alexandra could change the world in any way, she would reduce the amount of plastic used. She believes that the right messaging is important in establishing lasting behavior change regarding consumer plastic consumption. “I believe that we should educate people on the impact of plastic and change our habits to protect wildlife, the environment, and the world” she says. “You always have to be willing to give back to your community.” Being grateful for opportunities, resources, and relationships is the definition of a good citizen for Alexandra.
