Game began at 6:00 p.m. Franklin jumped to an 8-0 lead and used its ball press to create steals and layups off turnovers on the way to its 13-point halftime lead. St. Mary's cut the deficit to 34-25 with 3:43 to go in the fourth quarter and could never get closer. The win moved Franklin's seventh grade team record to 12-13 going into Thursday night's championship game. Three of the Flashes' starters -- Jagger Bergschneider, Kolin Keltner and Scottie Thoele -- played on the school's eighth grade team until the seventh grade tournament series began.
