| Match Comments: Normal Epiphany Starters: 11, 3, 8, 25, 34, 23. Oakland Tri-County Starters: 21, 30, 24, 5, 23, 22. Game 1 -- Normal Epiphany built a 24-20 lead but Tri-County cut the deficit to 24-23. With Tri-County's Caitlyn Balch serving, Epiphany got the winner on a push dink from the left side of the net from Megan O'Donnell. The score was tied at 1, 2, 6, 7, 14, 17 and 18. Epiphany was ahead until Tri-County took an 8-7 lead. Epiphany's Emily Brelsfoard served an ace to give her team a 19-18 lead and Epiphany then went to its 24-20 margin. Game 2 -- It was the Megan O'Donnell Show in this one. The 5-7 middle hitter blasted three straight kills to give Epiphany a 10-1 lead and she added three more for points, including point No. 25. O'Donnell also served for four points in the game and a total of 11 for the match. Also in Game 2, Epiphany's Rachel Neill served for 11 straight points as the Knights went from a 1-0 lead to a 12-1 margin to blow the game wide open. |
