Match Comments: Both teams fought hard in this third place match. They traded points to start game one. Lewistown was up 13-11 when #20 Deidre Ledbetter for Altamont took over the serve. Kedbetter served 8 straight points with 3 aces to give Altamont a 20-13 lead. But Lewistown would not go away and with good defense and great passing came back to win the mathc 25-22. In game two both teams matched fairly evenly, but Altamont put several good pass kill combinations together with #1 Gabby Alwardt for Lewistown to handle. Game three was a different story. Lewistown came out of the gate hot. #12 Marissa Grigsby served 7 straight point with 4 aces to give Lewistown an 8-0 lead and they never looked back. Congratulations to both teams on a great season.
