| Match Comments: Game 1: Hartsburg-Emden took a 10-3 lead behind the serving of Mary Rankin and the closets West Salem game was a four-point deficit. Rankin serve five straight points in the flurry and ended with seven serves for pints in the game. Game 2: The score was tied A 4, 5, 6 and 22. Hartsburg-Emden took a 7-6 lead and held it until West Salem tied it at 22 when Hartsburg-Emden's Mary Rankin hit a spike long. West Salem's Shali Greathouse did the same thing and Hartsburg-Emden never looked back. Mary Rankin got a kill for a 24-22 lead and the serve by Hartsburg-Emden's Jessie Eeten hit the net and dropped in for the last point. |
