| Match Comments: In game 1, Albion's Amie Bunting served the last 11 straight points of the game (including 6 aces) to lead the 14-point win. Then momentum swung to Lewistown. In game 2, the score was tied at 2,3,5,6,10,18,19, and 24 and the lead changed a total of 6 times. The last lead change came when Lewistown broke the 24-24 tie to score the final two points when Albion's Dionna Dawson spiked into the net and then bumped one out. Albion got a kill, stuff, and block in a row from Rebecca Winemiller to break a 19-19 tie and go ahead 22-19. In game 3, the score was tied at 1,2,3,4,5,7,12,13,14,15,17,and 21 and the lead changed hands 7 times. Albion's Rebecca Winemiller put a dink over the net to tie the game at 21-21. A dink from Lewistown's Kimberly Caulkins made it a 23-21 lead for her team. Then Lewistown used the serves of Brianna Hobbs to close out the scoring. |
