Game Comments: In the last quarterfinal game of the day, it was the Normal Parkside Pythons and the East St. Louis Lincoln Tigers taking the floor. This game was back and forth for most of the first half. The second half opened up with both teams trying to set the tone. Abby Thompson of the Pythons got the half started for her team by stealing the ball and getting fouled on the layup. She would knock down both free throws to complete the play. JaNesha Munson made a great pass down low to BreLaNair Cox for a layup to keep the Tigers in the game. Cox would come down the floor a few minutes later and hit a big three for the Tigers. The Pythons had an answer for everything on this day. Kiley Bronke would knock down a three to help extend the lead for the Pythons. The Pythons take the game and head into the semifinals tonight at 6:30 p.m. Congratulations to both teams on a great game. |
