With 2 minutes to go in the third quarter, the Bulldogs found themselves down 23 points to the Generals of Springfield Grant. The Bulldogs came alive and put the pressure on the Generals both offensively and defensively. Two missed free-throws by the Generals closed out the regulation time. A frenetic pace was set by both teams to start the overtime period. Both teams traded baskets throughout the final minutes. A last second shot by the Bulldogs clinched the win for Rantoul Eater. The Bulldogs were led by Johnny Jones, Devine Thompson, and Josh Olivera.
