Kloe Froebe

Lincoln West Lincoln-Broadwell

Kloe Froebe

Principal: Ms. Heather Baker

Kloe Froebe excels both in and out of the classroom. She is the Scholar Attitude Award winner for Board of Directors Division I.

Kloe has maintained a 4.0 grade point average while competing in three sports: basketball, volleyball and track and field and serving as a captain. The ability to excel at all these, while still being involved in her community, is Kloe's proudest achievement. "This accomplishment has made me learn to prioritize my education, sports, and activities to be the best that I can be in all areas."

Participating in interscholastic activities, which also includes Beta Club, Student Council and Service Club, has taught Kloe several important life skills. She says these include greater confidence, setting high expectations for herself, and the opportunity to be a role model for younger student-athletes. Her involvement in interscholastic activities also helped Kloe through a rough time when her best friend since kindergarten moved out of state. "For a while, I thought school would never be the same without her, and the fear of making new friends was overwhelming," Kloe says. "Being part of the basketball, volleyball and track teams allowed me to connect with other girls in my class as well as classes above me. Those relationships helped to guide me through a very difficult time of losing my best friend."

After high school Kloe plans to attend college. She enjoys learning Spanish and can picture herself in a law career utilizing the Spanish language. She also hopes to continue playing basketball at the collegiate level.
