State Tournament Series Payments to Officials

(Schools are required to pay the following rates during IESA State Series contests)

All athletic officials shall be registered with the Illinois High School Association in the activity they are officiating.

BOYS BASEBALL AND GIRLS SOFTBALL

Regionals: $42.00 each per game with no mileage. (2 officials for each game hired by regional host upon recommendation of participating schools.)
Sectionals: $47.00 each per game with no mileage. (2 officials for each game assigned by IESA Office.)

BOYS AND GIRLS CROSS-COUNTRY

Sectionals: $40.00 for starters.

BOYS AND GIRLS BASKETBALL

Regionals: $39.00 each per game with no mileage (2 officials for each game hired by regional host upon recommendation of participating schools, preferably from recommended list.)
Sectionals: $52.00 each for one game with no mileage (2 officials for each game assigned by the IESA Office.)

BOYS WRESTLING

Regionals: $135.00 each with no mileage (Three officials assigned by the IESA Office.)
Sectionals: $145.00 each with no mileage (Three officials assigned by the IESA Office.)

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Regionals: $37.00 each per match (2 officials for each match hired by regional host upon recommendation of participating schools, preferably from recommended list.)
Sectionals: $47.00 each per match with no mileage (2 officials for each match assigned by the IESA Office.)

BOYS AND GIRLS TRACK

Sectionals: $130.00 for starter with no mileage plus a $60.00 shell allowance for a total of $190.00 (1 starter assigned by the IESA Office.) $60.00 for assistant Starter if used.

SPEECH AND MUSIC STATE JUDGES AND ART WORKSHOP STATE INSTRUCTORS

Speech: $20.00 per hour with no mileage (To be hired as needed by host school, preferably from recommended lists for speech judges.)

Music: $25.00 per hour with no mileage (To be hired as needed by host school, preferably from recommended lists for music judges.)
Art: $11.00 per hour plus 25¢ per mile (To be hired as needed by host school.)

SCHOLASTIC BOWL

Moderators
Regionals: $20.00 per match with no mileage
Sectionals: $25.00 per match with no mileage
(Regional moderators to be hired as needed by host schools, preferably from recommended list of moderators. The IESA Office will assign sectional moderators for those sites set at the time the Scholastic Bowl bulletin is mailed.)
Scorers & Timers
$5.00 per match for all state series matches. (To be hired as needed by all hosts.)
