| Match Comments: Serving was the name of hte game for both teams early in game #1. Both teams also provided tough net play- blocking offensive attacks. Alicia Clark of Hartsburg-Emden blocked several Lancer attacks. Strong serving and great defensive plays aided the Lancer of Decatur Our Lady of Lourdes in their game #2 victory. Game #3 saw both teams trade points early. Our Lady of Lourdes battled back from a 7 point deficit behind the steady serving of Caroline Forster. The aggressive net play of Marie Less put the Lancers up late in the third. Alicia Clark kept the Stags alive by rattling off several explosive serves. The Lancers clinched the match on a final serve. Congratulations to both teams. |
