Game Comments: Pleasant Plains advances to the semifinal round of the Class 3A tournament by defeating the Falcons of Gibson City GCMS, 34-0. The Cardinals will now play in the 6:30 semifinal game later this evening. Pleasant Pains jumped to an early 14-0 lead after the first quarter and were able to steadily build the lead until the running clock was instituted at the start of the 4th quarter. Heidi Hergenrother and Caroline Jachino each scored 10 points to pace the Cardinals. Congratulations to both teams.
