Game Comments: The Panthers of Edwardsville Liberty jumped out to an early lead in the first semi-final game against the Mustangs of Homer Glen Homer. The Panthers rebounded well in the first half which led to offensive opportunities. Jasmin Rayner led the Panthers in the first half with 8 points. Payton Van Kampen led the Mustangs in the first half with 3 points. In the second half, the Panthers kept up their offensive pressure limiting the Mustangs to 9 points in the second half. Rayner led the Panthers in scoring with 13 points. The Mustangs were led by Kate Wolufe.
Homer Glen Homer will play in the Consolation game at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Edwardsville Liberty will play in the Championship game at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. |
