Game Comments: The Havana Ducks met the Trojans of Washington Central in the Championship. Both teams worked out the jitters in the first quarter and stayed evenly matched. The Ducks started to build a lead in the second quarter behind the steady shooting of Bella Fisher. Fisher contributed 6 of her 11 points in the first half. The Trojans looked to Bailey Bambrick in the first half and she delivered all 6 of her points in the first half. Both teams came out firing in the second half. Havana had scoring contributions from 4 players in the third quarter- Bella Fisher, Elly Bonnett, Sadie Dodds, and Caity Specketer. The Trojans had three players contribute to their scoring threat in the third quarter- Brittany Hattan, Lauren Ely, Josie Morgan. The Ducks leading scorers were Elly Bonnett with 12 points and Bella Fisher with 11 points. The Trojans leading scorers were Brittany Hattan with 9 points and Bailey Bambrick with 6 points.
