Game Comments: Normal Epiphany became the eighth team to undefeated Class 7A girls champion with a 50-24 romp over Effingham St. Anthony. Epiphany finished 27-0, the second-best win total in 7A history. Only Carthage in 1998 -- at 28-0 -- won more games in a season. Epiphany was led by Jess Reinhart with 22 points. Held scoreless in the first quarter, she exploded for 12 in the second quarter, got 6 more in the third and added four in the fourth, a quarter in which six of the team's nine players got into the scoring column. Samantha Zerrusen led St. Anthony with 9 points. Epiphany raced to an 11-2 lead after the first quarter and held a 30-8 halftime margin.
