| There are so many opportunities in cross country to witness good sportsmanship from simply hearing other athletes not only cheer on their own runners but also cheer for the other team/runners to finish their race.
Shout out to three young ladies from Beecher JHS who went out of their way for a struggling runner from another team!

In the world of today when the ideals of sportsmanship seem to be fading fast, it is of utmost importance that student-athletes learn by the example of others to be good sports in interscholastic activities. After all, learning good sportsmanship is key because it teaches kids to face adversity with poise and confidence while accepting success without arrogance.
