In 6th Grade I joined IESA for Band and Choir. I have loved music since I was very young and it was fun to learn new instruments with my peers in band and develop my voice in choir. I also joined Chess Club and joined the Scholastic Bowl Team which was invitation only in 6th grade. I went with my Chess team for the state meet in Peoria. In 7th grade I joined Cross Country and Track and Field. I have loved running from a young age and I was able to make it to sectionals for both sports. In 8th Grade I continued with Cross Country and was able to make it with my team to state. I continued with Chess all 3 years but I joined Scholastic Bowl after a year off. I am currently in Track and Field, and I have stayed in Band and Choir for all 3 years as well.
