Kaitlyn Johnson

Watseka Glenn Raymond

Kaitlyn Johnson

Principal:

Kaity Johnson of Watseka Glenn Raymond is involved in virtually every type of activity at her school. She competes in basketball, volleyball and track, as well as participates in band, choir, cheerleading and Science Olympiad. She also was named student of the month at her school earlier this school year.

She hopes to teach after college and the 1st place she recently received at a speech contest shows she's a natural in front of a group. She wants to stay involved in sports by coaching basketball or tennis when she's an adult.

Kaity believes if people took more personal responsibility for their actions, the world would be a better place. She knows one person definitely making the world a better place and that's her aunt Susie. Kaity says her aunt's strength after the sudden loss of her husband is awe-inspiring and reminds her of her own duty to do the best she can no matter what happens in life.
