Edward Mulvihill

Mokena

Edward Mulvihill

Principal:

Mokena eighth grader Eddie Mulvihill's application shows he's the kind of young man who is well aware of the importance of government, whether that's citing President Barack Obama as his most admired person or his own best personal accomplishment of becoming student council president. He says he's proud of that accomplishment because in his role on the council he has opportunities to impact his community, not just the student body.

He rounds out his activities with plenty of sports playing football, basketball, and being a member of a traveling baseball team.

Eddie dreams of a world without terrorism because he says it's useless and proves nothing. He says if we find a way to eliminate terror, he believes peace and harmony in the world would actually be possible. Eddie is headed into an engineering career once he finishes high school and has his sights set on attending the University of Illinois or Purdue.
