Match Comments: Jacksonville Turner Starters: 44,20,24,11,2,21. Channahon Starters: 16,7,8,4,27,10. In Game 1, Jacksonville turner jumped on top 7-2. Then Channahon's Alysha Alonzo served four straight points. Turner maintained a lead of 1 or 2 points the rest of the game until Channahon tied it at 12-12. Turner crept back into the lead, but never more than two points until late in the game. Turner's Karlee Dyson served for two points and a 22-19 lead. Channahon's Hailey Evans hit an ace serve to cut the deficit to 23-22. On the next point, Turner's 6-2 Abby Heise ripped a kill that fell between defenders, but she hit the net on her follow through and the score was tied 23-23. Channahon's Hailey Evans followed with an ace serve for a 24-23 lead and then she delivered a bullet cross court ace serve for the 25-23 margin. In Game No. 3, the score was tied 12-12 when Channahon's Alysha Alonzo got a kill to give her team a 13-12 lead that it never relinquished although Turner tied it at 21-21 on the second of two straight ace serves by Abby Bruner. Channahon got the next point when two Turner blockers hit the net. A spike by Mallory Martinet put Channahon on top 23-21. Turner's Amanda Caldwell-Jacques got a kill for a point to cut the deficit to 23-22. Channahon scored the final two points, the last coming when Turner's Andrea Phelps hit a spike long and out cross court.
