The Cardinals came out pumped up and ready to play. They got out to a quick lead in the first quarter. Caroline Jachino dropped in 7 points in the first quarter for the Cardinals and helped them build a formidable lead. Both teams played great defense in the second quarter and Bailey Dowling had a big 3 point basket for the Panthers to take them in to the locker room only down by 6. In the third quarter, it was Jachino who again sparked the offensive run of the Cardinals with 9 points. Hannah Dukeman scored 5 points in the fourth quarter for the Panthers. The Cardinals closed out the victory. Congratulations to both teams on outstanding seasons! St. Joseph finishes the season 25-2.
